Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Milnthorpe United
The Dynamos still flying high from their wins two weeks previous where ready for this weeks matches. Milnthorpe arrived a player short so Aiden Farrell kindly voluntered to play for them. The match started wtih a goal in the 1st two minutes from Freddie Swarbrick. Aiden Farrell was certainly there best player by far. His work was the only thing stopping us put 10 in the net. It was only two more minutes before Samuel this time had knocked a goal into the back of the net 2 - 0. From the centre the Dynamos where straight on the ball allowing them to work it up the pitch with several more attempts on goal before eventually Jack Ireland slotted one past their goal keeper. Half time fell and we made a few change to the line up. The boys went straight back out for the second half just as the first. It was only a few select passes before Jake Dalzell managed to made a great run before passing to Freddie for his second goal 4- 0. The game finished with the score 4 - 0.
Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Heathwaite
The return match from two week previous would find Heathwaite looking for revenge. We made a good start with a goal coming from Freddie Swarbrick in the first minute of the game. It wasnt long before Heastwaite found there feet and where making great runs through our midfield. Our defence made up of Jack Ireland and William Yarker held strong handling everything that was fired at them. We made two subsitutions bringing the introduction of Joseph Kenwright and Albie Barber they made sure we had fresh legs in defence which quickly lead to our second goal from Jake Dalzell. Half time gave us a much needed rest from an ever increasing presure coming from Heathwaite's attack. Dominic Barron Holden and Jake Green would make the starting lineup for the second half. The made good attacking play with all the shots being dealt with by Heathwaites goal keeper. We where unfortunately taken by suprise and our defence being caught much to deep and Heathwaite shooting straight into the back of our net 2-1. The centre had Heathwaite putting together another great attack resulting in another goal 2 - 0. The game finished with the last two minutes of the Dynamos shooting from every angle only to be denied a goal and held to a draw. Well played boys excellent work once again.

Dynamos 11 October

Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Heathwaite
After calling the Heathwaite manager at 7pm Friday night to check how the pitch was after 12 hours solid rain, I expected that I would be calling all the Dynamos to cancel. How wrong I was!!!! The sun came out on Saturday morning and we travelled to the Phoenix Playing fields in Windermere. As our players began to arrive the news came that Jake Dalzell was ill but with a strong team the other players where sure to fill his gap.
The match kicked off and it was evident from the start that the Dynamos had come to do the business. Our training ground exercises to strengthen defence and improve passing looked to have worked. The passing between Jack Ireland, Freddie Swarbrick, Samuel Medhurst and William Yarker resembled that of Manchester united or Chelsea. Jack and William both taking it in turns at playing in support to Freddie and Samuel worked well with the Dynamos taking an early lead with a goal from Freddie. This set the trend for the game with Freddie firing a second into the back of the net minutes after that. Heathwaite came back with a few good attacks but these where easily handle by William and Jack. On the rare occasion that our goalie was tested Charlie Norton pulled out some fantastic saves. After 7 minutes Samuel threaded a pass straight through the Heathwaite defence for Freddie to fire the ball into the back of the net for his hat trick. For the last three minutes of the half we swapped some players. The fresh players wanted to prove that they had the same in them piecing together attack after attack leaving poor Charlie in goals with nothing to do. The half finished 3-0 to the Dynamos. The second half followed the first but Heathwaite had swapped there goalie which kept our strikers out of the back of the net but our persistence paid off and Jack Ireland managed to dribble the ball ¾ of the pitch to get his first goal of the game. Fantastic result from the Dynamos finishing 4 - 0.
Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Wattsfield Town
Having lost to Wattsfields Town in Sedbergh a month ago the Dynamos flying high after their first win and had a score to settle. Our starting line-up included Freddie who was on fire and it was only 2 minutes before he had managed to put his first goal into the back of Wattsfields net. Wattsfield took the centre but Freddie and Samuel where straight back at them. Once they had dispossessed their attackers Jack Ireland joined in with great linkup play with the Freddie once again finishing a pass from Samuel straight passed the goalie and into the back the net 2 - 0. The restart again had our players attacking from the kick off and this time Jack Ireland taking his second Goal of the game. We rotated the players just before half time, which introduced William Yarker and Charlie Norton into the Defensive line-up. The attacking lineup of Jake Green and Samuel began to work well with Several Attempt on goal. Wattsfield came back with a late flurry of attacking shots but all where handle well by Dominic Barron-Holden. The half ended 3 - 0. We started the second half with Jake Green taking up the goalkeepers shirt and adding Dominic to the starting line. The Dynamos like in the first half took control early moving the ball easily around the pitch and having lots of shots unfortunately easily handled. A quick ball played by Wattsfield down the line was well struck with fantastic goal from their stricker. 3-1. Our persistence gained results after the restart and as Dominic and Samuel made a move forward Samuel had his legs taken in front of goal leaving the referee no other option than to award a penalty. Samuel stepped forward and struck the ball. Gooooaaaaaalllllll 4 - 1. The time ticking by Wattsfield came back with their best period of play but all their attacks where well handle by Jack Goldie talking the danger away every time and working well with his fellow Dynamos. Last minutes of the game and the Dynamos where not finished. Working the ball forward a shot from William was spilled by the goal keeper only for Samuel to follow up by putting the ball in the back of the net. The final whistle ended the game with the Dynamos second win 5 - 1.

Next Match 27th September 2008
Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Dales United
We had a full squad for the games this week. Coming from a 7-4 defeat against Dales United two weeks previously, the Dynamos where ready to make this an exciting game. In the first 3 minutes we found that we where equally matched but soon the Dynamos managed to break down the Dales defence with a goal from Samuel Medhurst. We quickly followed up with four more goals from Samuel, Freddie Swarbrick and Jack Ireland. Dales united managed to pull one back just before half time despite some great defensive work from Jack Mason & Oliver Clegg and some great saves by Jack Goldie before finally being beat.
Dales united's team talk must have been up there with Alex Fergusons as they came back in the second half with 4 goals to bring the match level. The Dynamos kept Dales united under pressure with several shots saved but on the break they managed to put together their best play of the game to win the game 6-5 in the last minutes.
Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Wattsfield
Having faced Wattsfields sister team two week previous, we knew that they would be a hard team to breakdown. In the first half we had much of the ball with lots of attempts to slip past their defence but with no results. The Dynamos pushed too far up the pitch and when Wattsfield broke we had no defence and a goal was the only outcome. The second half went exactly the same as the first with both sides equally matched until the Dynamos again found that our defence had strayed to far up field allowing a breaking ball to be fired into the back of the net. Aiden Farrell had no chance in nets. Great play by the Dynamos with few things to work on in the coming weeks training. Wattfield 2 - 0 Kendal United.

13 September 2008
Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Dales United.
We had a great first game to the season. Not knowing what to expect the Dynamos looked to be outplayed in the first half which had the home side take an early lead. In the second half our players battled back to bring the game to a 7 - 4 defeat. Goals came from Freddie & Samuel.
Kendal United Dynamos .. v .. Wattsfield Town
The Dynamos set of well with both teams equally matched. The half ended 0-0. The second half had Wattsfield score two quick goals not leaving the Dynamos anytime to recover. Excellent play from all the players who are showing great potential for the next match.
